Re: SZD overnight trains to Berlin
I have found a four car set of Eurotrain CMV "wide profile" sleeping cars. This type of cars, Eurotrain product number 0240, did they ever go to Berlin? I know the set is signed "Москва-Иваново" but i could change that if i buy them.

Eurotrain cars from your post UNcompartmet type - Russian name "Plazkartny" (Плацкартный).
On Moscow - Ivanovo they use as common coach type car with only sitting place - 9 place on section.

Re: SZD overnight trains to Berlin
I have been COMPLETELY mistaken here. I thought CMV was a car builder.
Ok, i will keep looking for cars then. However, most sleeping cars i have found have had the RZD logo.Иван Андреев писал(а): Eurotrain cars from your post UNcompartmet type - Russian name "Plazkartny" (Плацкартный).

Re: SZD overnight trains to Berlin
t Sorry, it's type of car. First introduced before WWII, because car build on then time use partial wood parts.
Passenger car builder in USSR was Kalinin (Tver before and now) plant and Egorov plant (in Leningrad).
RZD logo has all passenger cars after 1992 year, before - SZD. independent - compartment, sleeper or uncompartment.

Sorry, i was talking about the model cars i've found. Most of the models i find are marked RZD even if the item description says CCCP, USSR, or SZD.Иван Андреев писал(а): ↑Вт июн 20, 2017 2:03 amRZD logo has all passenger cars after 1992 year, before - SZD. independent - compartment, sleeper or uncompartment.

Re: SZD overnight trains to Berlin
As for books, at least here in Germany, you can always order a book through a library service. Even if the book is not in the library, they will fetch it for you, usually for free, sometimes even internationally, takes around 5-15 work days.
