Re: My train collection
Ah, ok. I just thought that, since their website stated that it would be closed until January 3rd, I think it was, I would have got a response by now. Especially as the website has been updated since I last checked.

Re: My train collection
It's our native tradition. We have a New Year and Christmas (here is 7 january, not 25 december) holidays from 31 december till 8 january. They just did not work I think.

Re: My train collection
Ah, right. I know that christmas celebrated on a different date in Russia, but I never remember that it's actually in January.

Re: My train collection
Still no word from Rocoland. I've checked my email inbox and spam folder every day. Nothing. I'm starting to wonder if I should look elsewhere and cancel my order from them.

Re: My train collection
Man, I should really update this thread. I know I said I would when I posted my RB4 conversion on the 1st of December, but I haven't really had time, being busy with work and traveling. Tomorrow, however, I hope to show you some lf the new additions to my collection.
During this past weekend I even added another new country to the list. One that I have actually visited, unlike Denmark, Norway, and Russia. Never been to any of those, but I'd like to visit some day.

Re: My train collection
Alright, so, here we go. As I have mentioned before, there have been quite a few additions since I last updated here. I am not posting these in the order that they arrived, as I have completely forgotten which orddr that was. So instead, I am posting them by country.
First up, Sweden, which only has one model I haven't shown yet. And even though it may look like an ordinary Rc5, it is a bit of an odd one. I purchased it second hand to use as a dummy, as it didn't have a motor. It was also missing a pantograph, so I chose to have some fun and installed a single arm one. Seeing as this locomotive, 1383, never actually was an Rc5 but was delivered new as an Rc6 I don't mind. Next up, Norway. A few more additions here. And first up are two locomotives I have yet to show. Di.3 615, which was actually the first Di.3 to get these colors: And El.16 2206, in the modified version: When it comes to coaches, there has been even more in the shape of A3 24009... BC5 26029 B1 19925 BR 21205 B7 27034 B7 27036 And B7-4 27026. In the next post, additions from two countries I have really fallen in love with. Gorgeous scenery, beautiful architecture, kind people. I am talking about Hungary, and the new kid on the block. Which country is that? Stay tuned, and find out.

Re: My train collection
Next up, Hungary. When I visited Budapest in November, for just a day, I somehow managed to buy nine models. Nine. I was very pleased, but my wallet? Not so much. But what did that trip get me? Well... I told myself, before going, that if the store I visited had a Nohab in store, I would buy one. They had at least three Nohabs available. So I got one.
M61 020, the last of the original 20 delivered new to Hungary. I also purchased some matching coaches to pull behind it, including VFK, or train heating car, 61 55 99-07 013-8... BDbh 50 55 82-28 110-9... Bhv 50 55 20-07 555-5... And By 50 55 20-17 399-6. Also, before I went on my trip, I had spoken to a manufacturer in Budapest about some custom made railcar trailers. No power cars, just the trailers, as I had found an interesting picture on Google that I wanted to recreate. He was happy to help, and here is the result: four Bzx type trailer cars to be pulled behind one of my V43's. There have also been two MÁV additions made via the internet, namely ABmz 61 55 30-91 004-6... And Bo 50 55 20-37 093-1. A Hungarian coach, built in Poland, and reproduced by a German company. Lovely! As for the "new kid on the block," well... It was another one of the countries my friend and I passed through on our trip through eastern Europe. And this purchase, made this past Saturday, was one lucky find. DCC, sound decoder, for under 7000 rubles. I just had to have it. Ladies and gentlemen I give you...
ZSSK 754 055-2! But here's the most interesting part of this purchase. I photographed a few of these locomotives when I was in Slovakia, in various paint schemes. Including one similar to this. But going through those pictures, four hours after I purchased the model, I made a little discovery. Do you see it?
Thanks for looking, everyone.

Re: My train collection
Hello Swede, I'm watching for your thread.
So, as far as I remember, you started hungarian line of your collection some pages ago, aprox. at last summer.
Isn't it?
