ScaleTrainsClub - Модели железных дорог

Самый большой в мире (по информации авторов) макет железной дороги расположен в Гамбурге, Германия, построен в масштабе 1/87, и называется Miniature Wunderland (сокращенно - MiWuLa).
Вкратце о макете:
Строительство начато в 2001 году, и на данный момент макет состоит из 7 секций (Harz, Knuffingen, Alps, Hamburg, America, Scandinavia и Switzerland). Это занимает площать 900 кв. метров. По макету курсирует около 700 составов. В во всё это вложено 500 000 часов работы и 8 000 000 Евро. На макете применяется компьютерное управление, в том числе движением автомобилей.

The first miniature concert of the world - live from the small Elbphilharmonie
On November 13th from 8 p.m. onwards, you can watch the live broadcast of the Grand Opening concert performed in the Great Hall of the Miniature Elbphilharmonie right here!



Following the speeches by Prof. Barbara Kisseler (Hamburg's culture senator), Christoph Lieben-Seutter (director of the Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle), Thomas Hengelbrock (chief conductor of the NDR radio symphony orchestra), and the makers of Miniatur Wunderland, the Elbphilharmonie will be inaugurated with miniature fireworks.
Subsequently, directed by chief conductor Thomas Hengelbrock, the NDR radio symphonic orchestra will play musical pieces by Mozart, Haydn, and Schostakowitsch. The musicians will appear as if they were miniaturized and are playing straight from Miniatur Wunderland. The stream is approximately 45 min long.
